Coordinate Giveaways ~Official Mining Company
About the Official Mining Company: A “clan” started by former CEO HeroSonic on April 20, 2021. Our goal is to find every ore, lava, cave, landmark, and dungeon’s location in all 20 biomes by strip-mining. Any current player’s base accidentally found by one of our policy-binding employees will not be posted. Coordinates given away are only calculated by the locations in which our employees found them in from the biomes we excavate in, and do not involve where we work in for employee safety reasons.
Policy:
Employee Safety: Do not give away coordinates in which you live in or of someone else’s base, although calculated locations may give away someone else’s base without violating policy.
Joining the Company: Ask the current CEO to join. In an interview, the CEO will ask you multiple-choice questions to assess your knowledge to mine safely.
Multiple-choice questions:
How do you mine straight down without falling on lava? (B and C)
A) Dig under the block you are standing on.
B) Dig while standing between two blocks.
C) Dig on the block in front of you (only three blocks down to avoid fall damage), then jump on that block and mine the block you were standing on before.
There are 4 diamonds across a pool of lava. How do you get across the fastest? (B and C)
A) Pour buckets of water to make stone or obsidian, and swim across.
B) Cover the whole pool one-block above the lava with a stack of non-inflammable blocks. Save the lava for later.
C) Cover the lava until there is no more. Do not save the lava, and sneak to not fall.
What is the safest way of getting to the bottom of a ravine, plade, or canyon? (A and C)
A) Pour a bucket of water and swim down.
B) Sneak to the edge of a block and build a ladder or staircase down, while not falling.
C) Elytra.
What is the fastest way to get back to the surface from a plade? (B)
A) Build a staircase or mine your way up.
B) Jump and put a block underneath you, and repeat.
You have mined a block with lava on the other side. How fast does the lava move?
A) 1 second every time.
B) 2 seconds usually. If the lava is above you, it will come one-block out in a split second, then slowly 2 seconds after. Best not to mine right above your head in a 2-block high vein, when there is lava above. Do a 3-block high when you know you are underneath lava.
There is a skeleton or witch, and you are in a one-way vein. What is the fastest way? (B. Did you know? Any mob, except players, instantly disappears when you exit out of the game. Not A, because you also get shot when you de-build your “shield”.)
A) Kill it. Slowly walk towards it while stacking blocks in front of you—to shield.
B) Exit out the game and it will instantly de-spawn.
C) Kill it. Sprint and jump while doing so.
How do you not miss an ore while mining? (A, because there could be a single ore or emerald in between each vein.)
A) Mine each vein 2 blocks apart.
B) Mine each vein 3 blocks apart.
*A vein is a straight line mined with a height from the surface (14 blocks under) to bedrock. Not required for employees to do, as it takes too much resources. Employees are allowed to miss as many ores as they want.
True or False: A mob spawner does not spawn mobs when you are near. (True)
True or False: If not hit once, your hunger bar will not go down at all. Your hunger bar also will never go down by riding a boat. (True)
True or False: Hostile mobs spawn both in night-time and day-time when there is low-to-no light. Neutral and hostile mobs do not spawn on water. Literally, if every block is lit with a torch, only neutral mobs can spawn only in day-time. (True)
True or False: Every week, everything 20 coordinate units from the center of a Spawn Zone will reset back to how it was, and you will lose what you built or put in your chest there,. But everything higher than that will not reset except ores and the surface will still regenerate every 24 real-time hours. This is the theory of Terrain Regeneration. I would write the coordinates down for each ore that regenerates. (True)
True or False: Do you need to craft a sundial to know when it is daytime while mining underground? (False. Why? A whole day is 20 minutes. Day-time lasts 11 minutes and night-time lasts 9 minutes. You can use a timer, check the surface, and cover the surface—if it is night-time.)

You find someone’s base. What do you do? (A)
A) Do whatever you want as long as you do not post the coordinates in the name of the Mining Company, unless you want to be fired.
Being a Shareholder: By donating 30 diamonds to an employee, that employee must give you 3 golden apples once every week—by any day—whenever you ask. The employee is not to allow shareholder in his or her base or within 300 coordinate units of it, and is to give the shareholder in a safe, spawn zone.
The Official Mining Company is not a real “clan”. The company is solely run by the hypothesis that each biome is the same replica of another biome. There is no clan base. Any employee could be part of another clan.

It isnt 20 biomes anymore, it is 21, a new realm was added recently. Glad to c u back on though!
Unexplored realm: cannot be teleported into until one player has walked at least one block into the realm. This means that the landmark and dungeon chests there have not been looted and there is no base built. This is why the chests you find are filled.
Explored realm: teleportable. One player already walked one-block there. High chance that player is a pro with knowledge of where all the landmarks are. High chance the landmark chests have already been looted and that there is a base built, but low chance the dungeon chests have due to zero-visibility underground. This is why the chests you find are empty.
Realm: a 25-width by 25-length zone—in coordinate units—with a 9 by 9 spawn zone in its center.

I was once part of a clan called Nocturnal led by a player named Tsduk. I had knowledge on the coords of an old base the clan used to have. Its nothing of importance to me now since I already have my own mineshaft.
Its a good mineshaft. I left a small "goodie chest" with some items. I also dug out an entrance to the mineshaft for easier travel.
Within the mineshaft as well, there are some tunnels leading to ravines where there are more valuable ores like gold and diamonds. Banshee (an old player) made those tunnels I believe. They also worked alongside another player names Akikoo, whom was an old pal of mine when we were in NoC. She's quit PoC and I doubt she's ever coming back again.

I've just been grinding loot from local settlements around my base lately. I've gotten a lot of ores and found a lot of mines.
I get lapis blocks
Ok nvm am scare
Tomorrow ill give the coords of an old clan mine (if it hasn't despawned)
I could do with knowing a few mines, all the ones I used are too far away now lool.

This was a ravine I discovered in another region.

Its pretty close to the closest spawn area. So if you have home point you can easily tp back.
