Certain "Apple Chests" in the spawn "Famrville" do still have loot like Gunpowder, Bones, Enchanted Books, String, Seeds, Bread, Horse Armour(Diamond, Gold, Iron), and Saddles. But most have been raided, it's hard to find these "Apple Temples" unraided and none have Apples anymore.
It's always been quite interesting to me that the PoC community stuck with the term "Apple temples", whenever they were just chests with Minecraft's Dungeon chest loot table, Lol.
It was a blast, sad it didn't last. Although I did find an Apple Temple someone left behind a few days ago and I got 3 ench 12 gaps and 13 diamond horse armour lol. But I wish they would add full scale Apple Temples back.

I think those are the game placed chests so that there different from players chests
They are Apple chests, used to be filled with valuable loot. The game got rid of the feature so now my ench supply is getting low.

Besides they added mansions so that's probably why they removed apple temples
There are still Apple Temples jsut got rid of the Apples. That's the only change and it sucks

nowadays the best way is to buy apples
It's like that on purpose, so you buy coins or gems.
That's why they refuse to add Apple Temples back
i found some of these in a Stronghold under my base... nothing in them, tho, they were empty
That's typical, usually in dungeons they won't have anything only selective spawns have them.
