Recently, I can see some very serious clan business. Today I made this thread for a little forum fun. It’s really easy- tell me your opinions: what would happen if every single human played poc, and in Survival Multiplayer? Share your thoughts in the comments.

The server would probably crash as it will not be able to hold over 7.5 billion players on a server.

even 100,000 players on a single server at a single given time would probably be too much, or a stretch at least.

BlueTangs Rock3, poc would be destroyed even if there is no lag. One day and there will be nothing to see but destroyed landscapes, dead players and items

players respawn, all parts of the natural terrain(even the annoying bits like stone, dirt, sand, and gravel), and items despawn, though a lag and a crash WILL happen if billions, or even a few hundred thousand of people were all on the survival server at any given time.

Stupidest question in all of PoC history.

Lag

If there was a way to make a server powerful enough for all humans, and a way for all humans to get internet and a device to play on, it would be chaos. All the way to the world limit every block would be destroyed in 1-2 months. The world is not unlimited. You would need to split survival multiplayer into 450+ servers. Make huge anti-grief systems, anti-hack and anti-resource/glitch abuse systems.

the world in the Global Multiplayer should be at least around the same general size of a MineCraft Pocket Edition world, which would be around 30 million blocks from 0:0.

Did you find an actual edge of the Global Multiplayer Server and not just a loading chunk lagging?

Supposedly PoC on Private Maps now alerts you about an edge if you click on a block of the edge, so that mechanic's probably brought onto all modes at this point as an edge of map mechanic.

if you actually found the edge, how far out is it in coordinates then?

It could be useful information for the wiki to know how big our server's map is.

I found the edge in a jungle and it warna us too the world keeps going but we can't break anything near the border or go past it
