The only reason the admins cut gold iron and coal from the list of fortune 3 dupable items is because people would mine a stack of them go back to their base and dupe that same stick into chests upon chests of gold now we’re all being punished by not being able to farm gold iron and coal with fortune because of the no life players that used that glitch
For all us players that never did that glitch i suggest a way for the admins to mabke it fair for everyone
Bring fortune 3 back and make it so that once you mine that piece of gold iron or coal with fortune 3 and you place it again you cannot dupe it again this is easily done as the developers could make an unseeable texture that attaches onto the ore that has been duped already so that the fortune 3 pickaxe the player is holding can identify which block has already been duped
THIS IS A SUGGESTION MADE TO MAKE IT FAIR FOR THE PLAYERS WHO NEVER ABUSED THE GOLD DUPE GLITCH AND ARE BEING PUNISHED FOR IT ASWELL
Trust me,i get punished ALOT in real life at school for soemthing i didnt do.so...just it ok.gold and iron doesnt work with fortune
Huh? I think the enchantment is currently just bugged like the many other enchantments that don't work properly right now. A few months ago or so, they patched the gold and iron exploit, and the other ores still worked fine with fortune.
Judy, yes a couple months ago they patched the iron and gold exploit by completely cutting it off from being able to be duped by fortune 3 which is why i made this post to make a successful way to bring it back for everyone without the glitches
-Modz-, The exploit shouldn't be brought back in any form. The enchantment was never meant to function that way, so why should players benefit from something that should've never happened?

This is honestly the reason I suggested auto smelt...so it could not be duped infinitely
