Hi! I was playing in private maps and someone found me. They told the others that they would track me down and kill me, and they did! How did they do it? Now I’m afraid to play in any of my games, especially survival cause, since they may find my home and take all my stuff. Can someone help me?
The risk of being killed or robbed is a part of Survival Multiplayer game mode. All in all, its name is Survival. If you feel uncomfortable playing survival multiplayer, I can recommend you to try play one of the Creative game mods, or Singleplayer. As for the Private Map game mode. You can set your Private Map so only you or your friends can enter it.
There is also an option to disable PvP in your Private Map.

ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤᅠ, maybe some of those people are in his friendlist or the people who killed him in survival aren't the same whom he met at Private map. There could be many different ways how this happened. But, of course, there is no way to just track any random player in the survival multiplayer mode whenever you won't.
Thanks for the replying. Sorry I wasn’t clear. What I meant was I was so surprised that I was underground and that person found me. I assumed that you could somehow gps a player. I looked a little further and found that maybe he used X-ray to find me.
My main concern was that he could now track me in survival multi. Which would not be fair, in my opinion. I don’t think that’s the case anymore. Right?
Tay, yes, tracking people isn't possible. As for the x-ray, you are right. I guess that player just used some x-ray bug.

They probably found your base first, and saw you in the area,and managed to somehow get into your private map just to trick you
