Flying is not available in Survival Multiplayer Mode. It is a glitch came out at V 4.0. 

What I've learned is this glitch is controllable.  Meaning you can purposely make this glitch.

Here I'm going to teach you how to make it on your phone.

Beware 1. you are unable to place blocks anywhere in the game. 2. you can't craft, open chest/private chest, or use furnace during the glitch.  3. You don't see mobs, which means you won't get killed by zombies. 4. you still can be killed by other players! 5. you will not be able to teleport in the glitch. 

Now let's get started!

1. On your phone, open Poc version4.0 and open Creative Multiplayer. 

2. Shut down the game form backstage. For example, on iPhone, you double-click the home button which leads you to backstage control. You swipe away the program so you shut it down from backstage. 

3. Now re-open the game, but don't enter the game. Stay at the main menu and check your friend list. 

4. Teleport to a friend that is in survival mode. When you get in the game,  you will see you are able to fly!

5*. Highly recommend asking before teleporting to anyone. It will destroy your friendship, get you or your friend killed.

I don't think the flying glitch is helpful in the game, but it's cool to enjoy the view.
