This has been a glitch for years; all mobs duplicate over time. I doubt that this will actually be fixed anytime soon, Pocadimin may or may not see this, but I still believe that they will won't fix this, as this glitch is as old as Singleplayer mode itself.

No, it has something to do with a mob duplication glitch that only occurres in Singleplayer, possibly related to the rendering of mobs over time, but I can't confirm that.

What I can confirm though is that this is not intentional behavior in PoC.

But I've seen a rabbit standing alone and suddenly a baby bunny hops out from under it. Same with cows and chickens

Rabbits are one of the mobs that can naturally spawn as babies, if a rabbit's going to duplicate rabbit spawns in Singleplayer mode, odds are that one's going to spawn as a baby because a rabbit have a chance to spawn as a baby regardless.

The animals and mobs that can naturally spawn as babies are rabbits, ocelots, horses, zombies, and zombie pigmen, all of these mobs have about a 5% chance to spawn as babies.

As for cows and chickens, were there actually baby cows and chickens randomly spawning when the mobs are duplicating? Because unless at some point they made all breedable animals have a 5% chance to naturally spawn as babies like MineCraft Pocket Edition does, it shouldn't be a possibility for baby cows and chickens to appear.

Though if the cows and chickens are actually showing up as babies, a screenshot of it would be helpful with figuring out what's going on.

I'm meaning to say that it could be possible that the first time that rabbit duplicated it's self, the duplicated mob had a chance to spawn as a baby rather than a regular adult. With mobs that don't have chances to have natural or duplicated spawns as babies, such most traditional livestock mobs (ex: sheep, pigs, chickens) , and most hostile mobs that aren't zombies (ex: spiders, skeletons, creepers), they will always spawn as adults.

And since mobs with no baby varients are also effected by mob duplication in Singleplayer mode, it hints that this behavior is an issue with spawnrates rather than an intentional reproduction/simulated population growth of animals.

Hello, is it online multiplayer or single survival? Looks like we have fixed common issue in second mode

I've seen mobs make copies of themselves that were several shades darker than their natural sounds in a privet creative map of mine. They still made sounds but they didn't move. One of my friends could see it to and even tried placing blocks over the mobs but when he smashed them later they were still their so we both exited the map and re logged in and they were gone.
