That wouldn't really be considered overpowered, because you could just craft a couple ladders with sticks and you'd achieve the same effect.
Maybe the durability of the boots could lower the more blocks you climb up, like with the soul-speed enchantment in Minecraft (where the durability lowers the more you walk over soul-related blocks).

Maybe something like any type of boots, 5 spider eyes, 1 slime block, and 2 diamonds or something.
Like maybe some diamonds too because it would be that good

Maybe not boots made of spider but like an enchantment like 'Spider Legs'
So you don't have to choose climbing or real armour
