While my Grandson was playing this game he accidentally dug a hole in his spawning site. So when he died and was spawned (?) he actually fell into the hole that was dug and died again.
After reading about this... I got the impression that he shouldn't have been allowed to dig or build on his spawning site. He wanted me to let you know that he could.

It's impossible to spawn in the air. The spawning mechanic would put him in the nearest spot on the ground.
