I have been playing POC for multiple years, taking breaks in between as I have matured beyond playing this game. The game has changed a lot, new skins, new blocks, etc. and it's amazing. It is cool to see my childhood game evolving. However, returning from a 2-year break, I get on one of if not the most popular map of all time, Parkridge. I didn't expect much, due to behavior that has been a huge problem for so long.
 
When I went on, a user that I will not disclose of, but many people know, has been spamming predatory and downright awful chats in global. I know Planet of Cubes has been keeping an eye on this user, and props to them, but I think it's time for a change.
 
This games chat can be easily bypassed using special characters like letters with an accent on them. This can lead to exploitations of minors and pedophilia on the game. Keep in mind, this game is advertised as 4+ on the Apple App Store, and while POC has been trying their best, I would expect changes over 5 years.
 
One change is to implement a better chat filter, like the ones on the popular game Roblox, where bypassing using accents just doesn't work.
 
In the worst-case scenario, make people verify their emails or make accounts before being able to chat, or just outright remove global chat.
 
I hope this finds the right audience. To POC Admin, I love your game, and it is just one step away from being the perfect game.
