I know with the recent update that the offline survival and creative modes have been removed. However, I was wondering if it was still possible to create private maps using the same biomes that survival mode offline used to have (sunflower plains, taiga, mega spruce forest), and if so, where I have to go to create that kind of map.

In the private map creation menu you can choose a type of biome in the big window to the left.
