p maps size should be increased because there are only a limited amount of resources in a p map and there should also be a mansion in every p map .mansions at p map should be less populater with mobs otherwize it would be unsurviveable.this is a picture of me realising that the world is too small.
this was my best p map ever cause i was so rich in it (richer than survival multiplayer)
Im pretty sure they might increase map sizes in the future, not sure when.
I think there should be an world option for mansions being in private maps, because not everyone wants them in their private maps.
i didint even know mansions were in p maps
They aren't I don't think.
Though if an update was to add mansions to Private Maps, players should have a choice about whether or not they want to generate their map with a mansion present.
Also a Private map's terrain is meant to represent an individual biome region present in Survival Multiplayer, so the only way that they could expand the world size without ruining the initial terrain concept is by including more biome regions within a private map instead of one.

Perhaps it could be a world option to set how many biome regions you want on a private map; small (singular biome/current map size), medium (nine biomes in a 3×3 arrangement), and large (twenty-five biomes in a 5×5 arrangement).

Though I have a feeling that anything more than that and it may be way too intensive of a map for Solverlab servers to maintain.
Or in terms of coordinates; tiny world size (24:25 large), medium world size (74:75 large), large world size (124:125 large)
Right now the game only allows you 2 maps so the medium size which is 9 maps is wayyyy to big already
True, though the 3x3 (9) biome map is one of the minimum sizes that I could see an expansion of Private Maps going, since as Private Maps currently are fixed to the size of a biome, if they extend the size of the maps from all directions of our current Private Map sizes they got to do it in full size increments of entire biomes.

So in a 3x3 sized map there's a central biome, and one extra biome on every side.
This also results in a Spawntown also being present in the map's center.
-
-
Though I guess a less intensive alternative for a medium sized map could be a 2x2 arrangement (4 biomes large).
-

However there wouldn't be a Spawntown as the center of the map then.
Give me tnt,
Currently the game allows three Private Maps per player account, but the original limit was up to five Private Maps before it was eventually lowered within the last year or so.
Right now maps are 50 by 50 cords because it goes from -25 to 25 so the biggest it can be is 70 by 70 so -35 to 35
Give me tnt, That is because that is worth 2 map sizes
once you get all the resources in p maps then you loose intrest to play it thats why poc should add mansions bosses and other custom structures ,new mobs , new biomes in p maps.
laval, yes but it is very hard to make private maps be bigger unless they make the offline mode better and you can change online maps to offline
I'm not completely sure what you mean, but if you're referring to using the offline singleplayer mode's terrain generator to expand Private Map sizes, then that wouldn't really work.
-
-
Private Map Terrain is not based on the randomly generated Single player terrain, but instead are predefined biome map templates, so they cannot use the single player mode's terrain generation to expand Private Map world sizes.
-
-
Alternatively, I think that you could possibly be referring to making Private Maps be transferred to offline singleplayer mode in order to allow for larger map sizes, however that it possibly won't work either since I'm sure that Private Maps are separate world files than the ones useable for singleplayer mode.
BlueTangs Rock3, Yes I mean turning private maps into offline maps and I know this is possible because in the past thier was a feature that you can upload a offline map online but it was kind of glitchy so it should be possible to make it back offline too to get a lot more space without servers needed
yea it will take a lot of time to do it
