This is how I organize my inventory I've seen many people in videos with very messy inventory's so I've decided to post how I manage my own so others can try organizing there's too. My Order varies from task to task but when I'm lounging around, exploring or just hanging out it's usually like what's shown below:
Empty space just in case
I would keep the setup same for fighting And for mining I would switch out the how for the ore I'm mining and swap out the emergency swiftness with a chest to put trash I get while mining in.
( keep in mind this is not to show off of anything plus I already know I'm poor I'm just trying to show how I would organize my stuff and I'm using my private chest as an example.)
Food my private chest I would organize it like this down below:
Diamonds for the whole too row only,Food for the whole second row,apples on the third whole,anything random but valuable on the fourth row,Things that I barely ever use but cost too much to throw away in the bottom 2 squares and anything else I find or need to store in the fifth row. If I ever get over the amount of valuables I can fit in my private chest I give them away I don't keep more than I can hold and I don't put valuables in bases either I just get rid of what I don't need, feels better than returning to a raided base realizing you had good stuff in there and sobbing at the signs the raiders left behind to troll you, Just give extra stuff away people will at least love you for it lol.

It is nice but since I make bases often they are always out of range of vew. the sky bases cant be seen from ground and the bases are build in a Vally high enough that they reach build limit so I can store valuables
second my under ground bases are built so that friends can't see my green player name from the surface even if they went down 40 blocks they could not see it also I hide valuables in my base in the walls sometimes u have to dig a 8 block tunnel to find the single chest that has my more valuable loot in it or I make false walls out of baked stone so I can hide stuff their with more chests often I put things like furnishes chests and work benches on the visible side so it looks like a normal wall but dig back 2 or 3 blocks and you find the secret room
