Nah I don’t think we should change it’s properties and make it softer to break. It is time consuming to break, but it is a great block for defending against creepers and will give you enough time to prepare whenever you’re attacked by players
Besides, obsidians doesn’t have much use other than a good defense
there's Enchantment tables, Nether Portals, Beacons, and End Crystals, which all require Obsidian in some way or form on MineCraft, where most of PoC's features come from. But yeah that's the point of Obsidian: being the strongest block a player can legitimately obtain in Survival. Also it only takes 20 seconds for an unenchanted diamond pickaxe to mine Obsidian, that's not too long if you're not in a rush.
In minecraft it's 10 seconds to break with a diamond pickaxe and in POC it's double , Idek anymore coz I never broke it even once , that's why I asked , I just gave up after few seconds coz of seeing how slow it is breaking , I hope at least be like 12 seconds? because in current state noone can get obsidian block , maybe people can get 1 or 2 but impossible to do anything with obsidian right now , just my opinion
