yeah, there's no special game mechanic that makes a clan for you. You got to actively make one yourself. You got to prepare your amount of stuff to make sure that you have enough resources to support a few people. Also you got to give people a reason to join your clan. Then you got to watch your back since GHE won't stop at nothing until your clan is dead, or it becomes a part of GHE, which isn't so great either, because of "back stabbers", as quoted by various Forum members. So yeah, you can start a clan yourself, but GHE or another non-friendly clan will end it eventually some way or another, as proven by the history of so many clans though the almost two years of the Main Survival Mode Server's time.

not if you're a clan. If you're a Solo player, or you are only with a group of like 1-3 friends, then you COULD possibly avoid GHE.
