i am makeing a portal room for my altra base and i want to make it look like the nether is spilling out of the portal. i am planing on puting purple stained glass in the portal to make it look like it is active

Alfonso, the guy who had the base, also had a youtube channel. In his videos, he blocks out the cords using a flimsy piece of paper. The piece of paper flipped out of the way on several occasions, and I was able to see the coordinates. The videos were super low quality, but using my knowledge of cave patterns, I was able to narrow down the specific location by using the caves you see in his videos as a reference.
Magma blocks dont exist in the game. I think you're confusing the nether bricks for magma blocks.

look at the cealing of the base and the floor of the kitchen. that is magma block

Those are nether bricks. Ik they look like the minecraft version of magma blocks, but they are called nether bricks in planetcraft

If I could recall, I believe that certain temple structures in the jungle biomes contain a few nether brick blocks.
