This is just a quick suggestion I have about local mode and how It deleted the world.
I was wondering If maybe Instead of completely deleting the world after expiring, It could instead maybe just turn the world offline and still have the world for yourself.

I was thinking that would maybe avoid the data problem as It would maybe not be a server? I'm not exactly sure how It works but what I was thinking is that It could basically turn Into a single player mode world after expiring so you don't lose your whole build.

I'd honestly be okay with only being allowed to have 1 world at a time because I don't really see anyone really making more than that. Another possibility could be maybe paying coins to lengthen the expiration date, kinda like the multiplayer creative rental mode.

I say this because local creative mode actually seems to have better settings than (single player creative mode) like Flat world's and the option to turn off all animals.

Single player worlds still take up data on their servers because all of your worlds are stored based on your account and not your hard drive. (At least that's how I think it works.)

I will pass on your suggestion to our developers, and we will discuss it.

I discussed this suggestion with the developers, and our team liked this idea. We are currently working on a feature that will allow you to save your private maps for more than 15 days.
