Think of Empires SMP.
This is on a private server, but since the servers are only 25:25 chunks (16 blocks), I'll have to think about how this would go.
Moral Rules: No racism, No misogyny (hatred of all females) or misandry (hatred of all males), No generally being a bad person for no reason (this depends on circumstance).
General Rules: None, with a few exceptions. Being evil/having little to no favor for good; or any type of benevolence IS allowed, but you can't be outrageously hateful for no apparent reasoning.
Characters: You can make your own custom character. Think of an OC. I know for a fact this sounds a bit odd, but:
Character Rules/Limitations: Your character CANNOT be without flaw (Example: Mary Sue characters.). You HAVE to acknowledge the game's rules and base your character around it. Example: Immorality is NOT possible and should not be a character ability.
If this sounds confusing, just google "How to make a DnD character". I would appreciate if you could master this level of character creation expertise, but you don't have to.
Theres alot of gray area in this, but basically it's a storyline with a mixture of survival and roleplay. I would gladly answer some questions or get name ideas for the SMP.
This semi-constitutes as an experiment, if people had free will and little to no rules, how would they operate? This is an example.
Sidenote: every action within the SMP will be documented for the purpose of studying.

I would specify on the skills, maybe some that match moral alignment. such as: "Begging" or "Killing noobs" to name some.

1. Cartography (study of maps) can be used to graph an area in order to secure chokepoints, useful skill in wars.
2. Cooking can be used for cooking food, and your enemies in fire.
