Now we can jump over wooden fences when before we could not jump over the fence. Is this because of an increased jump height? or if something changed about the fences?

Fence. Jump height is the same. At least zombies, creepers, etc. can't climb over fences. Be grateful for that. +1

pocadmin, it looks like peaceful mobs can not jump over fences still just players can and maybe enemy mobs =)
