Planet Craft History & Update Tracker (Up to v6.1.2)
Compiled by Sword of the Eclipse Clan
Introduction
Hello everyone! I’ve been keeping track of the history and updates of Planet Craft (by Playlabs), and I decided to share a complete timeline along with official links so that the community can always stay updated. This is both research and a contribution from our clan, the Sword of the Eclipse . If you notice any versions or details that I might have missed, please add them here so we can build this archive together.
Game History (Quick Overview)
Planet Craft was developed by Playlabs, LLC and has existed since the mid-2010s. It began as a sandbox mobile game inspired by block-building, but over the years it has grown into a massive multiplayer survival and RPG-style game with clans, bosses, mini-games, and futuristic features. The game has gone through many phases of development and updates, gradually becoming distinct from its roots. As of now, the latest version is v6.1.2 (August 2025), which introduced new content like Mansion Raids, better multiplayer systems, and plenty of polish.
Version-by-Version Changelog (Major Highlights)
The most recent update, v6.1.2, was released on August 15, 2025 for iOS and in mid-August 2025 for Android. This update was a big step forward, introducing the Mansion Raid as a cooperative PvE mode, a revamped Daily Bonus system with limited skins, new methods for earning free coins, a first-person sprint animation, and visible XYZ coordinates on-screen. It also improved weapon mechanics by speeding up crossbow reloads and adding new enchantments. World loading and navigation were made smoother through improved map zoom and waypoints, while item stacking visuals and spectator mode received noticeable upgrades. The developers also added stronger chat safety by blocking links and adding a cooldown, alongside UI polishing and bug fixes.
The earlier v6.1 update, released on July 22, 2025, laid the groundwork for Mansion Raids, refreshed daily rewards, and delivered some quality-of-life improvements for multiplayer. Before that, the v6.0.x series (from February to June 2025) focused on spectator and chat tweaks, bug fixes, and user interface adjustments while also continuing improvements around the Bee Boss event. One of the major updates prior to this was v5.9.4, released on February 4, 2025, which introduced the Bee Queen boss, rideable camels, new ecosystem elements, seasonal events, and further chat system upgrades.
Looking back further, Planet Craft has been evolving since its early years between 2014 and 2016. Those older versions helped establish the foundation of its survival and creative gameplay. If anyone has details or patch notes from those early builds, it would be amazing to add them here.

can you tell us
darkshine, I can certainly try. Most of what I know involves the roleplay wars that happened on the multiplayer chatting experiences like Worldcraft or World of Cubes. And my memory is a little fuzzy because it happened such a long time ago.
While I do not know which game specifically came first, I remember joining the platform some time in 2011. I remember because I got a kindle for my fourth birthday and couldn't afford minecraft. I don't know what it was about the at the time simple graphics, and the limited space for creativity but something about it hooked me. It was very early time in the community, where most people were exploring still. There was very few massive worlds, and worlds like FamilyBeach or Parties4Ever (both of which would become the most populated worlds today) didn't really exist.
I remember hopping around whenever I got on, going from world to world. Until I found this massive world called "TeenTitansRule." It on average had 40 or 50 players a day at the time in 2012. It had the Titan's tower, the Hive tower, and other creations from the original Teen Titan's animated show. That was where I decided to hang out. I would talk to people. I remember my early time there wasn't too eventful. I was maybe 5. Around the time of my 5th birthday, I began playing under the name "Kyya," whom I imagined as the fictional son of character Kai from the show Lego Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu(Remember, I was 5). It was also around this time that I met Jaya, who was also a fan and modeled himself as the fictional son of Jay from that same show.
This was an odd time in my life because I had just started kindergarten and was making new friends on the platform. I remember logging on in early 2013 and heard talk of some kind of "war" between two worlds, Bestpool and BestWolfPack. I can't remember the inciting incident but I do remember that there was a large roleplay conflict that lasted some four or five days. I had limited involvement and just observed.
BestWolfPack was perhaps the home of combat roleplay on the platform. It was where all the greats hung out, including TicciTobi(Tobias/Dakota), Fear, Hate, Azotl, and other future members of roleplay factions. Bestpool, on the other hand, I couldn't tell you much about. But I remember Bestpool having a steady decline in player count after this first war. There were several other wars that occured between minor worlds like Soniccity, Rich city, and eventually FamilyBeach when it popped off. The one I remember most was the conflict between TeenTitansRule(TTR) and SonicCity. It lasted a few hours and was a fun little roleplay fight. TeenTitansRule, my side, ended up coming out on top. This brings us to 2014.
In 2014, BestWolfPack(BWP) had another war with Bestpool, and BWP came out on top again. After that, Best Pool was pretty much desolate. Around this time was also when worlds like FNAF0000 came out, which ahd a war with TTR and SonicCity which no one ever really won. Undertale00, another popular world also was posted around this time. Several other wars were foguht which had no consequence, but beneath the surface, things were brewing.
The roleplayers of BWP were becoming divided. Disagreements over whom was the most powerful, and whom should lead the community began to pop up across the world and across other worlds. The sides were being drawn for something epic. Which I will get to later because I'm tired.
thank you
yeah
Heres some things to add to that history since you jumped from 2010 to 2025: there was multiple game breaking dupes from 2020-2023, most either used hopper or lag, but it was chaos. Now adays, the economy is way less expensive, ench and gset prices went down, but ip prices are rapidly rising because of it now costing gems. Other factors to add could be builds, youtubers, or clans that rose and fell like apyt. Overall though, the summary is decent
can you give tell us more about it
you should research the gold apple temples, we need those back (I'm an OG)
can you tell us history of that
