Wasn’t sure where else to post this, and it only seemed to fit here. Umm, what is WRONG with you, devs? Are you really this inept at making a proper game that you can’t give the community a way to police itself? Do you even care about your community? I personally have had some BS experiences in online survival mode that warrants this suggestion. First off, if you’re gonna make a mode for online play, you need to have a way for users to report inappropriate content, or other types of bullying and harassment. I cannot stress this enough, because there is a ton of inappropriate content that gets past the censors on this game.
First off, the words get past the censors just fine. Limiting the amount of characters typed does nothing to solve this. It only makes you, the devs, look sloppy at improvements, and like you don’t care. That is a lazy attempt at shutting the community up, and you know it. Please remove this, and substitute for a report button, or asterisks for offending words. I think people can figure out what they are from there. Furthermore, “silencing” other players does nothing to solve this, either. There are other themes of indecent behavior that I have yet to cover here where silencing a player is useless.
Second, this is an online MMO, not Tinder. But apparently, some users haven’t gotten the memo, because there are people left and right looking for dates on this Minecraft knockoff. Has anyone even brought this to your attention? Do you see the problem here? And that’s not even scratching the surface of problems with this online catastrophe of an experience.
Third, “Fighting”, or attacking other players in this game, is flat out stupid. And before you call me a “noob”, or a “pussy”, hear me out. As soon as I entered the server for the first time, I had barely even started gathering materials before somebody attacked me and stole everything I had. First off, it’s not like I had diamond armor on, or anything like that that somebody would want. I didn’t even have to have anything in my inventory to be targeted and killed by some idiot in diamond everything. I didn’t even have any weapons to defend myself with when this was happening. There was one instance (one that actually caused me to delete the app off my phone for a while, and cemented my hatred for this game) where a user in diamond EVERYTHING (sword included) built cobblestone blocks around me when I was mining wood, and attacked me right there to steal everything I had managed to scrape together. I don’t care what you say, that is overkill, and something that is actually happening to new users. How do you expect to be able to get stronger ingame if the rest of the community won’t even let you gather one wood block? There are enough mobs ingame to worry about, we don’t need immature users attacking people out of the blue for no reason. You can gather materials FROM ALL AROUND YOU, you don’t need to attack users because you’re too lazy to mine. If you’re gonna include fighting in this game, do it right: have clans or teams that people can choose to be a part of, and let them target others of the opposite team. Also, I know for sure I wasn’t the only one being harassed by the lazy players, as there were several people in chat having the same issue, and us having no way to report these indecent individuals for ruining the experience for everyone. I know this sounds absurd, but this is undeniable.
Devs, get your heads unstuck from your rectums, and realize what’s happening. If anyone else has had similar experiences to me, and can back me up, or have any other suggestions related to this, please feel free to leave them down below. That would be very much appreciated. This game has the potential to be good for what it is, and a way to report players who need to be banned yesterday would help solve a lot of problems within the community, and make it a better place for everyone.

We will rebuild clan and fight systems in that way that pros will not be able to kill newbies. You can message me and tell the words we need to add to the chat filter, perhaps some players use tricks to write innapropriate words to public chats.

PoC Master, Thanks for taking this into consideration. Another problem that’s there for newbies is that the idea of clans were not made obvious. When I played online mode for the first time, I had no idea that clans ingame were even a thing. I was actually pretty confused when I read the forum topics talking about them, so I don’t doubt other new players would be as well.

Lexi -3-, If there is, it wasn’t made obvious. I don’t think the “silence” option is cutting it, though, if that’s what you’re talking about. There are kids as young as (or, a team least, what some people have told me ) seven years old or younger playing this, they don’t need to be seeing the type of behavior I’m talking about, especially not in an online game.

Here's an idea: why not make new players that created an account for less than a week(or maybe 3 or 5 days) immune to PvP(they can't attack older players, and older players can't attack them). Then that may give new players at spawn a chance to get out of the spawn zone, because if they don't stay there too long, then they would not have to worry about people killing them while they're trying to get as far from active spawnzones as possible for the first couple days, then after the time is up, they can PvP other players, and be vulnerable to other player's attacks. But if roleplayers just stay in the spawnzones waste the time given, then that's their problem. But basically what I'm saying is,new players should have a few day grace period where PvP isn't a cause of death, but after those few days, their grace period will end, and they can kill or be killed by PvP. There could probably even be a timer that counts down and when the timer ends, the grace period will be over.
BlueTangs Rock3, This would be an awesome idea if hacking the game wasn’t possible. I think because people can uninstall, reinstall, and re-obtain their grace-period with this method, it would give hackers of the game the upper-hand at gathering supplies, and when it’s over, they’ll just attack people with whatever they hacked in during their grace period. Not to mention, since this is a PvP mode, people determined enough to survive online while being invulnerable to other player attacks, it defeats the purpose of a PvP mode. Maybe they should just take PvP out of the game entirely, since too many inconsiderate players are abusing it and ruining the experience for everyone else. Or just make a version of survival where the point and focus is just PvP, no mobs, just them. It would satisfy the obnoxious people and hackers, while they leave the rest of the community alone. If they do make a separate mode for PvP, they should take the PvP options out of regular survival mode, so players can play the game alongside each other, with much less hostility.
or perhaps they make multiple types of Survival Mode Based Servers with different rules, like they do for Creative Mode servers.
BlueTangs Rock3, That’s exactly what I think they should do, especially so they don’t have to do away with PvP mode entirely (though, I still think many players need to be reported, especially some of the ones here in the forums. Come to think of it, I don’t tho k i’ve Seen a “report comment” button here on this site either. Some “players” only care about PvP mode alone, and not the game as a whole, and thus try to bully other people by cursing at them or insulting them in laughably stupid ways in other unrelated topics that are completely alien to them. LãstDeãth, That’s true, they could. Come to think of it, I think I said something similar to what you said in a different thread on here, but I could be wrong. But if it is such an essential part of the game like you say it is, the devs need to find a better way to manage it so players don’t abuse it, like giving the community a better way to police itself, or put some mods in to boot out players who are breaking the rules (implementing both would be amazing) Maybe so people can choose whatever server they want to use, I’ve seen MMOs use icons next to the server’s name to implicate whether or not the server had different rules. Maybe they can do that to indicate which servers are which if they decide to do this.
