This is not my problem but a friend's problem. He's playing the game on his computer on an Android Emulator.

Everything went good untill  4 months. His fps started to die,its not going up to 30. His fps is usually between 20-30

When he is outside or in an green area his fps is down to 5-10

Is there anything wrong he is doing on his options or is there anything we can do to fix his fps problem?

He uses PlanetCraft,Planet of Cubes at the same time and copied them with Parallel space.

There is nothing wrong with the emulators since i tested the same emulators he is using on my own computer and everything goes perfectly fine.

If there is anything we can do to fix this, remind me.

In my opinion emulators shouldn't be used, they are constantly trying to improve them and they may of got an update which caused the lag, a good example is blue stacks, old versions run faster than the new ones.....

Taking all that into considerating, if it is not the case....  Has his computer been updated recently, does he have lag on any other games?

And perhaps most importantly ......  Is he using an emulator within an emulator?  So for example he would have a Linux operating system running wine, and using a windows emulator on the wine emulator?

What speed is his PC?

To be honest the staff won't really help with is problem as it isn't game related, it is most likely 1. His PC, or 2. The emulator has had an update which may be the cause of these lags.  laugh  the PoC team focuses on app development, not developing there app to be "emulator friendly"

Kieranb, I meant what are the specs of his PC, not speed......  And also I meant is he using android emulator in wine, not windows emulator.

Look strait down in a forest to run faster and look strait up in treeless areas to run faster this is great for pvp

Did you miss the emulator part? Sometimes emulators are the problem, not what your loading.....  20-30 fps is very poor, this leads me to believe the cause is either the emulator, or the computer itself, the later of the 2 is most likely as I have the same issue, these games are designed as applications for a phone/tablet, not for a computer, e most likely problem is his graphics card, poor ram, or over loading his CPU.  There's many ways to fix poor CPU, and you may use an external USB as extra RAM, you also can shut down applications on windows OR try using a different emulator on a faster operating system, windows always lags for poor PCs, looking at a point where nothing is needing to be loaded on the players screen will make you run faster as it puts less strain on the GPU.

Sorry for late reply...   You know the specs of your kindle?  Mine runs at 60 fps, only cost me around £60 from amazon...  But to boost FPS you can do a few things to ensure your device runs at it's best, make sure there's around 800 MB free in your internal storage (above 500 MB will give better FPS) .

I'm guessing you'll of tried this, so next up keep in mind the applications your using...  I use a great app called clean master, it cleans app cache and you can also stop apps, it automatically looks for ones taking up most space, the battery saver on it allows you to hibernate apps so tey don't restart when WiFi is reconnected.  Remember this, the more apps, the more cache, the more cache, the less space to run your apps.  Also it will use more RAM, remembere, RAM is volatile.

Volatile: "(of a computer's memory) retaining data only as long as there is a power supply connected."

This means when power goes off or your phone restarts, RAM is cleared, but applications will likely start up by their selves meaning RAM will be in use again.

I hope this helps you!  laugh it's also good to note you get what you pay for, so if it was cheap, then that's maybe why, you can still find a good gaming tablet or kindle for under £100/$100 just do a tiny bit of research.  wink
