it's not 25 blocks in each direction, it's 25 coordinates in each direction, and a coordinate covers a 16×16 block area, so it's really like 400 blocks in every direction from the spawnzones (and the spawnzones are just the middle, so really the map is 50 coordinates long which equals to 800 blocks from one edge to another, and the spawnzones on Private Maps are usable unlike the ones in the Public Server, so barely any part of the map is unusable (except for the last coordinate from every edge because that's glitched for some reason). A private map generates all the terrain a spawnzone's biome (depends on the Biome chose in the Private Map's creation menu) in the Public Server has, making studying each biome easier because you have the ability to generate only one spawnzone's region of your choice, then study everything that biome has to offer, but I guess there should be a world size option to Private Maps as well for people who want a bigger space than 800×800 blocks. I should probably make that a suggestion.

the point of the game isn't diamond blocks though, the only reason we're so expectant of tons of diamond blocks on the public server is because of a glitch of a feature that was meant to only roll-back mined blocks near spawnzones somehow affecting everywhere.
