I don't know what's going on but I drowned twice while I was walking about, there was a lot of water about but I was literally out of the water walking away from it.
In this process I have lost 2 days grind in materials including all my bookcases, all my armour all my tools, great...
What's going on...

I think that a few years ago, quite a few people were experiencing a similar "drowning in air" glitch, the glitch might've came back

Or if anyone has a workable library I could use?
Could you provide some more details?
1) How far from the water you've been when you started drowning?
2) Did you entered the water or somply passed by it?
3) Have you encountered similar problem earlier, or it was a single case?
4) In which game mode you've encountere this problem?
Hi Pocadmin, I'm in survival multiplayer,
I had entered water but was clearly out of it , I drowned 3 times out of water at 1000 - 0. All in the space of about 20 minutes.
One of the times I was well away from it and literally running to the spawn portal there.I was in the spawn zone.
I made some notes so I can give you an exact location and distances if you give me a day or 2.
This is the first time I've had this glitch.
The location oif the water is at 994 - 0, the 3rd time I drowned I was in spawn 6 chunks away.

Currently tidying the whole site up, its extensive, already used 2 stacks of dirt and cobble back filling useless holes.
Mushroom farm has been built, well the room was already there but now is a mushroom farm.
Other rooms opening very shortly will be library, brewing and a small crop farm.
If anyone needs any workable stations you'll know where they are.
At ground level there will be a mob grinder, with the other rooms at various levels undrrground.
I will be sorting these out before going on a major hunt for obsidian, just need to at least get 3 rooms done first.
Hopefully I can get this done over the weekend.
