I have a theory: if you crash when in your farm, then prehaps the crops will still grow, as it still thinks a player is there. When you crash, it usually doesn't remove your player entity from the world, so it's still able to spawn mobs around you if you're in the open, or drown you if you crashed in a body of water.
Fancy. Tuo was the master at growing crops. He would make farms near the spawn zones so there were always players nearby to make the crops grow faster butttt downside is when spawn regenerates your farm is buried rip. Also, Zyss is a good one to ask.

That's quite smart actually, putting the crops in world chunks that will pretty much always be loaded, so there's no growth delay. Also yeah, the stone burrying underground builds is the worst part of the ground regen in my opinion. The ore regen part of it is just an extra, that would probably be removed (if ground regenerarion is actually dealt with one day) for consistency with stopping the more annoying part of the ground regenerarion (the stone and surface type blocks that aren't that valuable) from occuring, but also the fact that it's pretty much a duplication glitch-like mechanic.
Bone meal lol
I use a different method
What's your method Pato?
I also use this
BlueTangs Rock3 ,
Pato, oooo you use lava as the light source? Nice!
Yes, altough it is a little expensive you , have to get sand and lava ( and a fire resistance potion + just in case)
ooooooh methods for light sources, ah ok.

Scarlet, sorry I spelled wrong. Zyzz son of Zeus is a good farmer.
Ok thanks for the advice.
You would have to check every 1 hour and a half to see if the crops grew
