Hey guys,I'll be suggesting Camp Fires today, this Idea was based off of Hakuin's"Fire cooks food"suggestion,so thanks Hakuin for the inspiration of this suggestion! I hope you guys enjoy!
•Campfires can be crafted by 4 sticks,and 1 flint.
•Campfires will start after you place it,but it'll go out fast.
•To make your fire last longer, you have to give it fuel.
•sticks, leaves, planks, logs, wood tools, doors, signs, mushrooms, sugarcane, flowers, dead bushes, and grass/ferns are fuel for the camp fire(that means that no coal, charcoal, wool,or lava can be used for fuel, because camp fires are like an early furnace).
•there are 11(the first one's initial camp fire)tiers of camp fires, fire tier 0 is just a light source and won't function until given fuel to make it a tier 1 or higher, fire tiers 1-4 are just regular fires that cook, and provide light, fire tiers 5-7 will also give you a small regeneration boost(slightly faster healing rate, but not actually the regeneration effect)when near, fire tiers 8-9 will also scare most mobs away along with giving the player the actual regeneration:1 effect when near, and fire tier 10 may even have the ability to set small fires(fires that die after a few seconds) to any flammable blocks in a 2×1×2 block radius, along with giving the player the strength effect with regeneration when nearby, and for 10 seconds when away. If you put a piece of fuel into the camp fire,it will increase the camp fire's tier by 1-5 depending on the type of fuel you used, you can't give it extra fuel,so say you added 2 planks(one adds 4 fire tiers,so two of them makes tier 8),you can't put 3 planks in(because it would make a tier 12 fire, and 10's the limit),so you have to throw in a sign(one adds 2 fire tiers)as well, because 8+2=10,how ever,if you can wait for the fuel burning time to go down enough, you can add another plank, when adding 4 fire tiers doesn't go over 10.
•not all fuel lasts the same time,or have the same effect though, fuels like sticks/mushrooms/flowers/dead bushes/grasses/ferns/saplings/sugarcane have the same, but least of the burning times, and adding one of them only adds one fire tier, fuels like wooden tools/signs/trap doors have a little longer of a burning time, and adding one of them adds 2 fire tiers, fuels like planks/plank stairs/planks slabs/fences/gates/doors have the second to longest burning time, and adding one of them adds 4 fire tiers, and logs have the longest burning time, and adding one of them adds 5 fire tiers. If you add 10 sticks to a camp fire, however the tier 10 fire won't last nearly as much as it would if you used 2 logs in a campfire.
•to give the camp fire food, you have to tap on the camp fire, and it'll open a camp fire interface screen(like what happens when you click on a crafting table, chest, private chest,or furnace,or use your inventory),and there'll be a icon slot to put food at(you can only cook 16 food at a time in a camp fire),there will also be a slot where you get your cooked food at too.below the slot where you put your food in,there's an orange bar that slowly drains as fuel runs out(like there furnace's fuel durability bar),but on the side of it,there's a timer on how long the fire will last, something that says what tier of fire it is,and 10 icons that hold the fuel item you used(you can't get the fuel items out though),that eventually gets covered by an orange overlay from the bottom up(an appearance like how when you try to hold down on an item in your inventory to throw it out,or deposit a whole stack of items into a chest/furnace and that inventory slot gets covered by a green overlay)and when a fuel slot gets completely covered by the orange overlay, the item disappears, and the fire tier goes down, then you could put some more fuel in(if the fuel you use doesn't make the total fire tier go over 10). You put fuel in the camp fire by going into sneak mode, and tapping the camp fire with fuel items.
•when a camp fire looses a fire tier,it'll make an extinguishing sound(with the sound being quieter when loosing less fire tiers at the same time, but getting louder when multiple tiers go down at the same time).
•the larger the fire tier, the more light, and larger range of light will happen, this would also effect the range of camp fires melting ice and snow.
•when first placed the tier 0 camp fire won't function, but it at least provide light, but once a camp fire gets a bigger tier, and comes back to tier 0,it won't provide any more light, won't function, and has a burnt ash appearance, then you need to find more sticks and flint to craft a new one.
•camp fires also only cook food,no ingots or charcoal.
•if you stand on top of a camp fire from any tier except fire tier 0,you you start to take fire damage, but it won't actually set you on fire until fire tier 5 and up,with the player taking longer lasting, and more damaging fire damage, until fire tier 10,when if stood on,set you on fire for a relatively long time, and does a little more damage than being in lava with no armor, water, food,or healing potions. Items dropped on camp fires at fire tiers 0-8 won't burn up,but will burn up on fire tiers 9-10.
I hope you guys liked my suggestion! :D
Wow, great job!
Thanks! :D
The campfires
? Lol
Game of war is a game
..... ._.
Thanks. :)
BlueTangs Rock3, Such an amazing suggestion!
Thanks! :D
How long did it take you to type this
it took an hour and a half,Lol.
BlueTangs Rock3,:/ Damn was it worth it?
Ķøhàķů, why u no talk to meh in message
Smart Noob,Your mysterious
well when I write Suggestions,I'm marking down possible ideas for my own game if I learn game programming,so even if over half of my suggestions aren't added into PoC,if I make my own game, I could still make the suggestions a reality. Also an hour of Suggestion typing is nothing! xD I've typed a whole suggestion out for 6 hours before. Lol
but my average Suggestion typing time can span between 1-3 hours. Though sometimes I can get a suggestion done in less than an hour, but it's less likely to happen than the average time.
Great idea bluetangs!!! XD
Thanks! :D
