Yesterday I was making an animal pen and put some cows in it,and every time they're coming in contact with the fences,or cobblestone they keep taking suffocation damage,and all of them eventually die,then in one of my friend's chicken coops,every once in awhile,the chicken keep taking suffocation damage. It seems like the bigger the animal,the more likely they are to suffocate.

It's actually quite similar to how baby Horses in MineCraft were originally like,always suffocating in blocks next to them because their collision box(how far an entity can go next to an object before it can move closer,or gets pushed back,meant to prevent mobs and players from taking suffocation damage)was way to small comparing to it's hitbox(where a mob takes damage),causing the horses to take suffocation next to blocks. And Mojang fixed the problem by increasing the collision box on the baby Horses,so that might be how to fix the problem with the PoC animal mobs(since I'm assuming that sheep,pigs,and rabbits would have the same problem as the cows and chickens), especially since almost all of the current animals(except rabbits) in PoC was just basically ports from World of Cubes,and in World of Cubes,in Pre-v2.5,the animals sizes were ranged to somewhat(for example,the chickens),to significantly smaller(for example,the cows)than the ones today,meaning a smaller collision and hitbox,but in v2.5 onwards,the 3D models changed,and the animals were bigger,though the smaller collision,and(I think)hitbox remained the same,but when they ported  PoC,at some point they must've increased the hitbox(maybe for convenience,or to update it with the current mob size,etc.),but must've forgot about the collision box,making the animals prone to block suffocation. So in Conclusion,this must be a problem with the animal's collision box being smaller than the hitbox,and the collision box has to be at least barely bigger than the hitbox for this exact problem to stop occurring.
