If we had villagers, we can trade for stuff, even mending enchantment books(on other post about adding mending) so add them and let them move around cause traders don't and this could actually have a use for emeralds, and we could have new job tables.

We'd like to add villagers in the future, but it will take a lot of time and work in order to do that. Most people, when think about villagers, imagine them how they are currently in Minecraft, and there are a lot of things in Minecraft connected to villagers that aren't exist in our game.
