Many clans have Allies and enemies, manipulating your enemies and Allies is very prominent in your clan's growth. 

here are some suggestions:
= enemies are bad. The smaller the amount of enemy clans the better. 

= WARS ARE POINTLESS. What's the purpose of a clan vs clan war? If you want to raid your enemy's base do that quietly. It's easy. Or maybe send a spy to see their cords. Wars are just useless. They drain the resources of both clans and cause chaos. If you can raid a base without waging a war that's way better.
= SPIES ARE IMPORTANT. I USED TO BE IN A CLAN. I was a spy and espionage. I spied our enemy and we infiltrated their base without any wars. 
= ANTI-ESPIONAGE is important. Always do a background check whenever someone joins your clan. Maybe they are sent by your opponent. I have spectated too many of these examples. 
= TACTICS SUPERSEDE WEALTH. When you're thinking of who to select as an officer, or Clan Deputy, always see how they think. For a clan to succeed they need tactics. If you win a diamond armor player with a wooden sword, that's way better. Tactics are always the most important part of clan Defense and Planning wars. 
= BETRAYAL. The best way to avoid betrayal is giving perks to clan members. 
= SACRIFICE. Many clan vs clan wars start when a single idiot member of the clan does something stupid. Either they provoked another clan or killed the rivalry's clan leader. In the case where the clan you're facing is too powerful, negotiating is the best way. Sacrificing one is better than sacrificing a whole clan. 
= HAVE GLOBAL PLAYERS. if your clan members are from varying time zones they can fully protect and be aware of your clan's base. Which is a essential part to avoid RAIDERS.
= MANIPULATE YOUR ENEMIES. use your enemies against one another, this sounds complicated, but it is extremely effective. If you have 2 enemies or more, Use them against each other by spreading rumors, and letting them focus on each other rather than your clan.
= SACRIFICE SMALL THINGS FOR BIG THINGS. If you know a very talented person, give them rewards to let them join your clan. If they are actually talented, it's certainly worth it.
= THE POWER OF NEWBIES. Understand that newbies cannot be ignored. Newbies are the best members to recruit, because they have a lot of potential and after they know the ways of the game, they can prove to be even better than you!
= LASTLY, BE KIND. Always help another player when they need help, someday when you need help others can aid you and your clan!
