So I am a minority on this forum (I.e. I play on kindle fire HD 8.9 second generation amozon underground)
I have been stuck on 3.2.1 since novermber. I am realy mad becuase the new updates minimum requirement is android 4.1
I have somewhere around android 2.3-4.0.4 but I can't update my kindle any further. I don't have access to computers or phones just this kindle. I can't possibly be the only having this problem so if you have figured it out please tell me with as much discription as possible. As the title states ther is a huge reward. Consiting of
2 stacks of diamond blocks
4 stacks of emerald ore
1 stack of pink wool
1 stack of iron blocks
And 4 enchated golden apples
Reward will be givin to whoever posts the first WORKING solution if it doesn't work you don't get reward
Does your system update automatically or manually? I might be able to help because I use a Kindle Fire too, but not that exact model.

Hmm... Do you use Amazon Underground or did you root your Kindle and put the Google Play version on it?

You could try downloading a update of the web basically forcing your kindle to update
Ask kieranb or bluetangs they will know more probably
I know nothing hahaha, but what version is your game? If it's 3.4.2 then you have latest update (I am aware of) on amazon... I'm too lazy to search how to force update it, but one way is buy the app from amazon store (should be free, make sure it has "actually free") and then follow there instructions for updating from the cloud.

will probably be a few issues though as.... Well Amazon's android is stupidly made and not compatible with normal android, so this also may be shy the latest version isn't on Amazon! Because it needs to be made compatible.... Think of hard drives, FAT32 is compatible with most system where as FAT is compatible with all.

I would try hiding my stuff in a chest, get screenshots of its location and/or base locations, and uninstall the game and reinstall it. DO NOT put your stuff in a private chest because you will lose it.
