Chainmail:same protection as gold,but about the same durability as iron. Chainmail Armor is transparent unlike most armor,and can be smelted in a furnace to get iron nuggets(like in MineCraft 1.12. 9 iron nuggets make 1 iron ingot).by the way like in MineCraft PC 1.12,iron tools,and armor should be smelted into iron nuggets,and same goes for gold things,and gold nuggets.Chainmail is uncraft-able ,and can only be obtained from NPC Villager trading,and armored Zombies/Skeletons.

Emerald: equal to diamonds,crafted by emerald ingots

Obsidian: slightly more durability then diamond,but noticeably a bit more protection than diamond. Can be crafted by obsidian. With it,you can't get negative potion effects(except poison to balance it),fire,fall,or cactus damage,but each time you take damage from those,you loose 2 durability instead of 1.

NetherBrick: equivalent to iron armor,can be crafted by Nether Brick ingots(not blocks),and has a default fire protection enchantment on it,that can later be improved by an enchantment table,or anvil with a fire protection enchanted book.

Brick: slightly better than leather armor,can be crafted by Brick ingots(not blocks).

Stone/granite/diorite/andesite(yes I'm aware that 3/4 of those don't exist in PoC yet): between leather&iron armor,can be crafted by the different stones.

MossyCobble: equivalent to stone,it just looks cool with the plant/moss theme. Can be crafted by MossyCobble,and Mossy stone brick.

Sandstone: equivalent to brick armor,it just looks cool with the desert theme. Can be crafted by all sandstone variants.

Bone:equivalent to leather. Made out of bones.

Wood: equivalent to leather. Made out of any wooden plank variations.

Stick: equivalent to gold. Made out of sticks&string.

Lapis: equivalent to stone. Each part of the lapis set when worn will increase the odds of getting more loot from mobs(and sometimes their head so we can get mob and player heads like on MineCraft) and ore,and make you get better levels of enchantments(for example,a chest plate would be more effective than boots,but when combined makes it even more effective by adding them to each other.) Can be crafted by lapis ingots(smelt lapis lazuli in a furnace).
