I have an Amazon Kindle Fire Tablet with an Amazon Kids account for my kids. In the Kids account I've downloaded Planet of Cubes Survival Craft, and the version appears to be 5.5.5. I can't find any record of this version existing anywhere else, but it only has creative single player and survival single player.

Anyways, in this version I can craft armour but I can't equip it. I can try to equip it, but it will never actually go on my character or stay in the armour slots.

Is this a bug? Is there more information available about version 5.5.5?

Thank you!

I think you downloaded the wrong version of the game. The latest version is 5.9.1. Which model of Fire Tablet do you have?

It's a Fire HD 8 (10th Gen). In the Amazon Kids app this version is the only one that appears, and when I check for updates nothing happens. It doesn't seem to have any more recent versions in whatever app store the Amazon Kids app uses.

The game in Amazon Kids app is a separate version of the game where only a single player is available. The latest version of the game can be downloaded from the regular Amazon market app, though there are no separate single player game mods, execpt the Private Maps, which can be played solo. I must warn you that if you have any maps in Singleplayer game mode, they will not be transfered to a latest version of the game.

Thank you. Is an update anticipated for the Amazon Kids app version? The kids love it, but the part where they can't wear their armor makes survival impossible for them.

Yes, we plan to release an update in the future.

That's awesome! Sorry for the many questions, but is there a date planned for that and will it fix the armor issue?

There is no set date yet. The bug will be fixed, yes.
