I have been playing this game for a long time and new updates have increased so I die or I die by setting a trap on my head. Is there a way to prevent this or to be better at pvp?

Well, maybe it's not your fault, the PvP mechanics right now are not that good. Like knockback is not still a thing.

And I don't know about those underground PvP tactics but for overground PvP, since I play on a computer, i think PvP is better on a computer as you have more control (with keyboard and mouse) than on phone with only the screen, also there is lower lag than on phone.

Now for the tricks,
•Try to make your movements unpredictable, your opponents won't know where to land a hit on you.
•Check the settings and experiment with sensitivity, such that it's easier for you. Your opponents should always be in your reach (on your screen).
•Try to use more of the variety of game mechanics. Swords, bows and axes are not the only things in game. I have 5-6 crossbows already loaded in my inventory such that if I spam all those, I could technically take down half of any player's health (if he's in full diamond Armor).

But these tricks only work for overground PvP with more space and most of the time I tried, the opponent just digs down to PvP in some 2 block tunnel (I'm not too good at those). But for those types of PvP, maybe having more resources and spamming hits is a thing to win.

I personally suck at a PvP but if you want my input switching directions constantly makes you harder to hit I think.

Xx-Zar-xX,It would then be easily exterminated

Your clan has like 5 people in it and is kinda tiny shush.

Xx-Zar-xX, And you... who are alone, and yet, as you said, are bad at pvp... that is, easily exterminated.

Hey, a strategy I use that works for most players is...

Move to the sides, keeping the pointer on your enemy and keep hitting

If your enemy gets too close to you, move back and then run through him and grab him from behind

To recharge your life you have to run far enough and stay far away, eat cooked beef to recharge food points (or ench if you have it) and then switch to your weapon (do this strategically since they can kill you)

And use speed, strength and healing potions, it will make you kill a little faster, you will get away from them and you will heal yourself

Yeah, for potions, I think strength, healing, speed and jump are best ones.
Regen can be substituted by golden apples and invisibility is bad as it does not work on Armor.

And about potions like poison, weakness, slowness and harm, it's better to use arrows as splash potions might sometimes damage yourself too if the opponent is closer. But if the opponent is far away splash potions are better if you have bad aim as they deal area damage.

And for food, I think cooked ones are better, I use steak or cooked mutton as I have fire aspect, but if you are really rich golden carrots are also good.
Stuff like bread and cakes and other stews require farming and patience, so meat is better as it also has high capacity. The highest I know is that steak fulfills 4 full hunger bars.
