How does ore regeneration actually work? I heard ores respawn at their place every 24 hours. But 2 days ago i created a large mine in hopes that they would respawn but my mine is empty and no ores respawned at their place.

The ore respawn has no set timer and may take up to 40 hours. Try to wait a little bit more.
