Leaderruca, my base is in bedrock and i didn't know why things disappeared is that it's the first time that this happens is that i've had several base in subterranean (bedrock) and that didn't happen
Mobs can disappear if the game detects that they don't belong to anyone. You have to feed an animal so the game links it to you and won't remove it from your base.
POCAdmin2, QUOTE FROM YOU: You have to feed an animal so the game links it to you and won't remove it from your base. Question: Can you confirm that this also true for chickens spawned by the Dispenser Block? Yes OR No?
But I am lucky---My base is in the ocean neither undergroud nor in the air, soo everything is fine for me,
just sometimes a dirt block or any other block get disappeared and I believe thats those endermen pests, they always live in my base even after I kill them
justapurpledye, my base is completely closed with glasses soo you can see the ocean but the water will not get inside. So, mostly during rains, Endermans tp to my base but once they took my Diamond block I cant regret it

Now 12 chickens out of 40 have disappeared, I have 28 and I don't have anyone at the base, no one ever went there
This is a bug, I think it must be the rendering that is making your things disappear carrots cows chickens
This happens but with underground and air bases
but underground base bases are more likely to happen depending on which layer you are on

enderman.,It's not impossible to happen, but it doesn't always happen either.
But underground bases are the ones that happen the most
If you notice that sometimes your underground base appears minerals like coal and others, this is rederization.
And the game system must think things like cows chickens carrots shouldn't be there so they are removed

POCAdmin2, I always feed them mainly chickens as they are easier to feed
