This is called a suffix. A suffix is when you try to give yourself a username thats taken,so a suffix will appear to distingush you,Its also in the bedrock version of Minecraft.
For some reason it randomly adds a suffix to your username sometimes for no reason since it's not taken so you have to try a few times to be sure it is taken or not
