It happeneds always when we use weird fonts or unknown characters.
That's a glitch for IOS I think, for me it shows nothing at all, acts like nothing is there
Pingu, yes that's an iOS glitch but they could fix it if they just send the player an image of the name to render instead of the Unicode for the device to try to render and fail. This idea also stops hackers that can theoretically can steal someone's name with copy and paste and a little hacking
So an example of this if people doesn't understand is this: So right now the game is able to render some players names because the servers send the name to the device to try to render, but a better way of doing this is for the servers to render the name and save it as an image so when a device needs to render another player's name the game will send the image data so your device will render the image instead of the name it can't understand.
Servers means the computers the game uses to tell all the devices what to do
Device means the technology you are using
Render means show or load the thing so you see it
So you mean visible usernames are images instead of text? wouldn't that make the game laggier, or take up more storage?

Probably not, I couldn't see how an image being on the screen would be any different than looking at the HUD or menus.
