All I did was throw snowballs randomly ffs, no need to flat out kill me over and over.

What's a snowball going to do to your maxed out diamond armour, I'll tell you what's its going to do...NOTHING!
maybe they saw you were in battle mode so they attack you. If you throw snowballs make sure that nothing important is on you (Like enchanted armor or apples) so they see you as a waste of time to kill, and even there, they wouldn't get much
For some reason, the game counts snowballs as a player attack which gives another player the opportunity to attack you in spawn. In main spawns, this is especially risky as there's a higher chance of players who are itching for a PVP fight being present than in further away areas.

People in spawn can be strange...
Many people will immediately jump on any opportunity to kill someone. Im surprised you havent noticed this already

It's indeed a very unfortunately common behavior for many of the players found in spawnzones, anything that could be an opportunity for them to attack you they'll often take full advantage of the chance.
Maybe you should try to get on a roof to throw snowballs because that's a bit safer.
Throwing a snowball gets u in battle mode, and if your in battle mode, people can hit you and you can't leave. it kind of prevents "Combat Logging" (Basically leaving during pvp)
Either way, people are mean and wanna feel good about themselves so they kill you

Thank you lily of wccs who very kindly gave me a diamond helmet and sword, which I've already lost due to being killed at spawn.again
Over the last 2 weeks I've been planning to hit the woodland mansion, with the gear sorted twice only to get killed.
I never even got to the mansion, waste of time and effort travelling back and fourth over 15000 chunks.
An little about me.
Due to a condition called fatigue I suffer with neurological brain damage, this happened 2 1/2 years ago.
I have been going to a nurse and having bloods taken.
This condition was brought on by high stress situations that no one would listen to and disregarded what I was saying, sorry guys but I can't have stress and this game is giving me bucket loads right now , can't even seem to get a foothold.
I certainly can't be arsed to keep trying.
Dar Kuma, its ok your health will ok soon after 2 years i will come back and we will creat a clan where so many donaters will be obsuliey best friends clan is donater but all have quit poc from tat clan so will creat a new clan

I havnt seen the mansion, never been there.
Ok here's a legit summary of mansion
Big House (Rumors say it's Admin's house, but it got raided so he came back and used his permissions so u can't break and build blocks there, and mobs guard it)
Mobs: Zombies, skeletons, spiders all the basic and common mobs, but there are those gray/grey ppl,they have big noses (Figuratively and literally) so they can smell you and go to you. they also send lil ghosts that are gonna kill you.
"Connection" It's pretty laggy unless your a YouTube person who spams harm and put music for that
Spawn: 50:-100, nearest spawn I think, you don't have to walk 10^10000000 blocks
Chests: Glowing probably
Planet of Cubes have their own channel they show updates and stuff you see here like in the home page of forums
Rumor: Theres a clan led by a monkey they always go to mansion or 50:-100 to kill people idk why

Pingu, Gaara almost never visits the mansion anymore now that the loot was changed.
This is true, he had told me something similar to this on Discord when the mansion loot and mob changes were still new.
Rumors are from 1863, and also the monke is at 50:-100 I saw the monke there with their non-monke members.. Wait a minute

The Mansion is not the admin's house, it's a public "naturally generated" structure in PoC which refreshes with loot over time to supply players with renewable loot.

Also it's intentionally a place in which players cannot mine, place, or grief blocks on or inside the structure to give the slightest "challenge" in the place, and to keep the structure intact (otherwise players could block off every mob, chest, or entrance with obsidian, or destroy the entire mansion within a relatively short amount of time).

Also, the admins most likely have no established or personal bases as they're Solverlabs staff, so they mostly play the game for more technical, developmental, and professional purposes, meaning they use the game as a job rather than their leisurely time to build.

Along with that, they have all the game permissions they need enabled; block&elevation-specific coordinates, fly mode, and creative(and debug) inventory, among other things, giving them little purpose to build bases to protect themselves or stock to up on resources like us players do.
