Here was 1 time it happened.
It was the day where Enchantment and horse update realsed, my friend have the update but I dont, and he suddenly died while riding a horse and it says he died from Unknown.
for some reason. lol.
This is basically a glitch,and I know this because I experienced it before. Basically,There is a glitch that I call "No Name" (No Name is not a player with an invisible name,its undesrchable,and its a disguised player) Sometimes your name has trouble loading skins and name so it gives the player that it can't load the name and skin The Red skin and No Name,but its u searchable as No Names in POC have a bunch of invisible characters in their name,and not actually No name. The glitch is not a bot,but an actual player who glitches on your screen as red and no name. If you kill this player,or this player kills someone else,it glitches out so that it dosent show that you killed it,And the name of the player that was killed by No Name will only show up,with no arrow pointing from the killer because the game cannot find No Names name,so it glitches out. Only way to counter this glitch is to respawn.
Invisible characters are characters that just dont show on my skin screen, or appear as boxes (usually with an x in the middle) and don't show the actual character.
Sad because my on my screen it shows as "pinu s" but it's not that
Pingu,Perhaps some characters just don't work with the code because they aren't official,I see this happens everywhere,from rolblox,to Minecraft. Maybe the x thing is a glitch

Give me tnt, when I looked in the players list, no one was named "Unknown" or anything that looked like it

But like give me tnt said,Its possible for players to copy Unknown with an invisible character.
Oops,I meant to say game,not name.
Pingu,Maybe update your game/device,or contact the devs about it.
It leaves the possibility of an invisible name for me and others with similar devices, and idk what special characters the username has
Examples: "O" from THO clan font
the "g" from GHE font
the "W" from "Warrior" ( at least for some "Warrior " things)
Despite this, I can have some in my username, just that they don't show on my screen
