I have two questions,
1. Are the redstone mechanics similar to the mechanics in Minecraft? Because I want to make a super smelter and an automatic farm.
2. Are droppers the same as hoppers or?

super smelters arent really possible because hoppers dont exist in this game yet. Im pretty sure some automatic farms are possible, but it would require you to go afk in the farm to get the resources because once again, hoppers dont exist yet.

What does it do?

Make one and jump in...good for farming
It's an AFK machine, you go into it and the water's current moves you around in a loop, and so you won't get disconnected from the game while you AFK since you're technically always moving, which is useful for when you're near farms.
Ah. I can make it another way.
You need a room a clock and a trapdoor.
You wire the trapdoors or doors to the clock and since they are bugged you slide.
