When I have enchantment rooms, I usually build the enchantment table 1 block away from the bookshelves, it's in the center, and the bookshelves would be 3 - 4 blocks high.
If someone built what you built in my base, I would move out because then someone is living with me, and I hate people that take stuff from me, and my base would probably have my stuff
I have experience with making those rooms, so maybe an improvement would be a (stone) wood slab 0.5 blocks above the ground, with the brewing on the slab, like a shelf. Then chests, I usually make 3 chests, bottles in the botton, potion on the top, ingredient in the middle. Also an extra chest with arrows, and a cauldron. Also an infinite water source, or a single one (for water bottles) and the cauldron is to dye things or to make tipped arrows.
There are "raw" things on the top like ores, raw food, and stuff like cacti and sand.
On the bottom are things like cooked food and other smelted stuff.
Glowstone provides lighting for the crops below, and water is covered by slabs or carpet. There is a chest full of seeds, potatoes, carrots, and the other stuff. Then there are the harvested versions, but a chest for each thing, instead of a shared one. I would put this next to the previously mentioned kitchen.
Slabs are recommend for melons and pumpkins, while carpet is above the water and is used for the wheat and stuff.
I Will turn my storage room into a " base" but it's just chests, ench room, small farm (never used :/), and my room which is cool (it has a fire place and a diamond spawn.
Here's my old one
oh great!

Also coal and Redstone ores respawn on the fireplace ):
I'll just call it a base now :/
