I have an idea for two new types of enchantments. These enchantments are reaching and tunneling. The reaching enchantment increases mining distance by 1 block per level with up to 3 levels. This enchantment can be applied to pickaxes, shovels, and axes. This enchantment does not increase distance for attacking. The tunneling enchantment makes it possible to mine out a 3x3 area instead of a 1x1 area. The enchantment makes mining strips quicker and more efficiently than a tool without it, with the cost of depleting 9 durability per use opposed to 1 without the enchantment. It can be applied to a shovel or a pickaxe.
lol I had been thinking of a reach enchantment and was going to be makeing it today but never got around to it. It think reach is a really good idea and would definatly help with mineing. And the tunneling enchantment would need to take a longer mineing. time as well as take 12 damage, sort of like a balanceing affect so it wouldn't be to op. But I think it would be very useful. Though if you mined the ground in front of you what would happen? Would it just make a 2 block deep imprint? The enchantment would need to only work when digging strait infront of you, one block off the ground.
Hi, when adding new things we always think about balance - so it's hard to add things like this.
By the way, have you tried efficiency IV for pickaxe? I think this can help you with this question - it destroys veeeeeeeery quickly.
Have a nice day!
POCAdmin1, I understand balance, but there are some things that efficiency cannot do. It cannot fell a whole tree and mining a 3x3 area is more convenient at times.
POCAdmin1, can you make it so we can get effeicancy V for diamond pickaxes and can you make all efficiancys so it breaks obsideon and enchantment tables faster?
efficiency 5 already exists
Judy, oh ok i thought that that was max (i never tried to enchant efficiancy IV with efficiancy IV my enchantment room was smashed and i havent finished my base yet so i dont have a base to build another room in to tey it
Efficiency 5 breaks faster everything. But if, for example, on cobblestones this is very noticeable, then on other blocks like obsidian it is less.
