Ok so this is getting very annoying tbh
when enchanting i look through the best enchantments and go for the best one or the highest enchantment but the books i enchant are either downgraded by a level or i get a completely different enchantment altogether and i got scammed out of a fortune 3 book which really ticked me off i never got a recording of it but now i finally have a recording
What i am saying is i want the enchanted books i got scammed out of or the coins back so that i can enchant more books since I'm basically a free to play player with the odd occasion of buying a coins pack i find it very very annoying that I'm wasting coins to get stuff I don't want

Honestly the tool enchanting values need turned up...its easy to get OP armor but my enchanted sword sucks and i spent 500 coins to enchant it
How do you guys have bad enchants for swords? I got sharpness IV first try then got a book with fire aspect II
also to answer your question -Modz- the reason you get different enchants is because it's not a 100% garenty that you will get every enchantment. That's why it says "ban of arthropods..." if it were to speak it it would sorta be like "ban of arthropods?"

It's all a probability and dose not always give the enchantment you click. the more book shelves you have around your table increases the chance of getting it and also gives you more possible enchantments

I also have way to many enchanted books of my own. I was useing a trick to get silk touch (put pick ax in if not silk touch put book in get lowest enchantment repeat)
though I am really sry about ur base. If you need diamonds or emerald just ask
