an old friend of mine showed me a block he found in a mineshaft chest. it was a block that was just one oak wood plank. The plank was with a lot of other stuff like diamonds effected arrows and slightly used armor so he smashed the chest and picked every thing up not thinking about it but he said he didn't relies that the block took a different inventory slot and dint combine with his other planks. Later he said he was making some chests and noticed that his wood count in the recipe said that he had 99+ wood planks. Thinking he just had a lot of wood in his inventory he just spammed the button for chests but the plank count never left 99+ even after he had made an entire stack of chests (that is 6 stacks of planks) thinking it was a glitch he loged out and rebooted the game. He still had the singular plank in his inventory and the 64 chests all his other wood had been used but he had 1 plank left he went into the crafting menu and taped the chest icon it still said 99+ planks. So he placed the wood block down the singular plank was still in his hot bar but their was a plank on the ground. So he placed the plank in the one of the chests and it went in but when he held the item item down (like how you split a stack of items of move the stack of items to you inventory) it moved to his hot bar but their was a stack of oak planks still in the chest he put the block back in the chest taped it and put it in his inventory. No wood block left in chest except the 1st stack he made. Then he put the block in and held it down till it was half green then put it back in his inventory 32 blocks of wood. He showed me the block and let me hold it it was a singular plank that was able to place infinant copy's of itself. The block could also be put in a furnace and would burn like a normal piece of wood but when the duration of a wood piece ended it refilled as if their was a full stack of wood in it we smelted almost 15 stacks of stone with "one" block.
Is this block just an extremely rare item left in a minshaft by an admin
was it like a reward for a challenge or something and given by a admin and the person not wanting it? (Idk why u wouldn't want that but whatever)
the block currently sits in my friends privet chest. He requested that I not say his name.
Wat!?!? A block that lasts forever? It mIgHt be a hack,it could be an epic glitch,but idk,he must have gotten very lucky.I'm gonna start searching Apple temples more.

If the chest is apparently in a "player-made section", then that means that this likely isn't a naturally occurring part of an abandoned mineshaft, and thus is most likely unique to only this particular chest in this particular mineshaft. Quite interesting find.

It wasnt a natural thing my guess is that it was from an admin who wanted to make an item that would break the game but it wouldn't break it to much as a creative diamond block would. Imagine some guy making a mansion out of diamond blocks or going to main spawn and filling a the chest in the spawn zone with stacks of diamond blocks. Or some one haveing a creative enchanted golden apple and doing the same thing and give Inc people stacks of enchanted golden apples and eating enchanted golden apples as a food source

Ikr I was just as appalled by it as u r now he says the only way he is getting rid of the creative block is if he gets 20 chests filled with diamond blocks and 20 chests filled with enchanted golden apples (he is not parting with it)
the item was found in a mineshaft i was with him when he found it my asumption is that a admin or a hacker left it their as a cool reward for some one. (i know my friend and he is definatly not a hackerif he was he would have done it with diamond blocks why would he do it for a worthless item such as wood i willtry to send pictures of my screen later
