I have been in every temple in PoC, but what I have realized is that there is no good loot.
yes, some may have lapis blocks, gold, and other things like that, but lapis and gold is basically all there is.
There's almost no point in searching for the only naturally spawning structures in the game if there's no loot.
Plus, at every temple there are random chests everywhere. The jungle temple for example, it has secret chests behind the steps. Why would u search for secret chests with no loot?
So I was thinking, temples should have really good, rare loot.
I've seen a rumor that you removed the diamond temple, but I found it. Just it had no diamonds. same with the apple temple, no apples.

Decoration Temple AKA ice temple is a grand, beautiful temple.
The loot I'm thinking of is random chests with stuff like a small amount of golden apples, a few diamonds, and horse armor.
There will be one hidden chest that you must find that will hold a whole bunch of ice blocks, horse armor, and a singular ice wand.
The ice wand not only fits the snowy, icy area, but gives a reason to go there.

Lapis temple AKA desert temple (1).
This can contain chests with horse armor, a few golden apples, sandstone, and lapis.
There will be a singular hidden chest somewhere that will hold sandstone, lapis, and one magic spear.
Just like last time, this gives a reason to spend time looking for it.

Sand palace AKA desert temple (2)
Chests will hold horse armor, terracotta, and a few golden apples.
The hidden chest will contain sand, sandstone, 6 enchanted golden apples, and a private chest (more than one if you want to)

Jungle temples.
The chests will contain cobble stone, vines, stone, gold ingots, and horse armor.
the secret chest will contain 6 enchanted golden apples, stone, dispenser, and a hammer.

Forest temple AKA diamond temple (I think)
the chests will contain leaves, wood, vines, horse armor, and golden apples.
the secret chest will contain horse armor, glow stone, 2 enchanted apples, and diamond blocks

And finally, it isn't a temple, but the stronghold
chests will include obsidian, iron ingots, golden apples, stone, and diamonds.
the final chest in the portal room includes 4 enchanting tables, 4 private chests, enchanted apples, and a bone bow.
chests in libraries have cobwebs, books, and paper.

I know the chest in the portal room sound like a lot of good things but not many people know about temples, let alone a whole stronghold and where to find it.

Seeing that three quarters (If not more) out of everyone on POC don't know that temples exist and don't know that strongholds exist because they don't even have portals, not many people will find these chests and the good loot, meaning its not giving that much of an advantage.

Please consider this as there needs to have a purpose for temples and strongholds. 
Please consider adding these in an upcoming update if not the next one.
